There are no sharp edges, so it’s comfortable to hold, even when stabbing into frozen ground. Finally, the wide spade shape and curved profile is optimised for scooping into the ground, simplifying the process of digging a cat hole. There’s even a 15cm depth mark on the back so you know when to stop digging.
